Client: The Class of 2000 GVMHS Reunion
I decided I would help plan my 10 year high school reunion, so I joined the committee and we came up with the idea of organizing a joint reunion with the rival high school in our town. I volunteered to do the website.
To promote the reunion we wanted to emphasize the significance of the two schools coming together, so we developed a theme from combining the orange from one school and maroon from the other. I created a logo from the roman numeral ten and stuck our waving flag on top to symbolize what we had conquered. Each school needed it's own site to sell tickets and post info, so we created a shared landing page that allowed alumni to select their school then continue on to pages designed with the original school colors and a new personalized logo. The reunion was such a success, we had people asking us to throw one again NEXT YEAR!
